Tears on the Universe

I stole the shine from goddess’ heart
replaced it with darkest void
filling gaps with burning stars
and sealing the bleeding wound with night

I tossed the glitter in the air
creating worlds and skies and seas
weaving the waves that swallow lands
and beasts with rubies in their chests

I kissed the moon and drank its light
filling my soul with stellar ichor
I took the gleam from unwilling sun
bathing in the crystal tears of the universe
